Japan Scholar lecture was held in Kathmandu and Delhi

Professor Manish Biyani (Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kwansei Gakuin University) actively engaged in the Japan Scholar project in Jaipur in Rajasthan and Indore in Madya Pradesh, India from 8 to 22 February.

He visited Mahatma Gandhi Government School on February 8 where he gave a lecture on ‘Introducing Japan and Innovative Biotechnology and research career opportunities in Japan’ to 280 students, and delivered a lecture with the same theme to 105 students at the PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Meenawala on February 10. At the first school, three students came directly to him with their keen interest to study in Japan after the lecture.

On February 16 (Sunday), he was invited to attend a mega school event organized by SSP (School Siksha Parivar) and delivered a message to the management authorities of nearly 2,500 high schools (private) in Rajasthan who attended the event. Meanwhile, he discussed with participants regarding sending young researchers to Japanese universities with and giving information to provide Japanese language courses and food/culture knowledge to the high school students to create interest in Japan.
On February 20 (Thursday), he gave a lecture on ‘RICCA: Rebirth of PCR technology for Translational Biotechnology’ to 75 students from several faculties at IIT-Indore. Participants were interested in new technology and the latest research results.

On February 16 (Sunday), he was invited to attend a mega school event organized by SSP (School Siksha Parivar) On February 20 (Thursday), he gave a lecture on ¡®RICCA: Rebirth of PCR technology for Translational Biotechnology¡¯

 

Lastly on February 22, he met with Nursing students at Biyani Girls College and introduced the scope of Nursing care business in Japan. He encouraged them to study the Japanese language and take job opportunities and careers in Japan.
Prof. Biyani has realized the need to work intensively on the movement of skilled youth from India to Japan and has been working for many years to promote ‘study in Japan’ through his style. 500²ÊÆ±Íø would like to support and collaborate with such researchers in Japan.

The Japan Scholar Program sends researchers affiliated with research institutions in Japan to universities and high schools in South Asia, where they give mock lectures and talks about studying in Japan. The program aims to promote Japan's research capabilities and educational strengths through lectures to local high school and university students.
