Project Research Associate
☆Faculty as of March 2024.
This research is designed to conduct research and development of satellite-based socio-economic data on a global scale for data-driven decision making, especially for less documented regions and countries. Besides, the project applies data products to practical development projects through collaborations with international organizations. Several sub-projects are underway, such as global human settlement mapping, socio-economic monitoring using night-time light images, and post-disaster loss and damage estimation.
